holy crap it's been a long time! surprised i still know the password to this thing.

anyway, our Friday the 13th show at Dark Horse went AMAZINGLY well! SO many people showed up! thank you all :)

and the owner liked us so much she invited us back. though the first open date she had was August 1st (saturday). SO that's PLENTY of time to clear your calendars (or at least give us an asterisk and a footnote at the bottom of the calendar page)

we will DEFINITELY have more shows between then and now though so keep checking the myspace and facebook pages for updates! (including a show at the Greene in beavercreek!)

SO apparently i havent been on here in almost 2 years.

sadly NOTHING new has really happened. the band has gotten a LOT better. but thats about it.

we STILL have not finished our album and i think that if we do at this point, it will sound completely different than what we started with. which is fine just means a lot more work on our part. but musical tastes and exposures have been dramatically changed in the last 2 years and we just could make the album we set out 3 years ago to make.

like i said, this is a GOOD thing. but it means we have to get off our asses and DO IT.

i'll keep you posted and i'll try to keep up with this better.

well...this was probably updated slightly more recently than our message board (almost a year now there). not much has happened. we have 5 songs almost completely finished. paul has a few more ideas floating around in his head. i'm waiting on a friend to contact me so i can discuss a couple of his old songs to possibly redo for the album and then YOU will have a CD!

in other news, i've been a father for almost 5 months and he's amazing. you can catch his pictures HERE

other than that not much going on. though if you get the chance you should definitely check us out on myspace. i hate the place, but it's definitely going to get us the exposure not available in dayton. bleh. check it out, 4 of our songs are available for download there.

SO. Coaster's now known as Colubo's or some crap like that. Originally we were scheduled to reappear there July 17...NOT HAPPENING. The new owner is a complete ass and we'll never go back. he sat in the back the whole show and bad mouthed us to the 4 actual customers he had. he acts all high and mighty however without us there he would have only HAD 4 or 5 actual customers.

anyway. so no idea yet when our next show is going to be but we'll keep you posted! in the meantime keep checkin the website for updates! rich is always over there workin' his butt off on it. it looks amazing!

oh man...that show was amazing. really shouldnt have drank all that pop this preceeding week. really messed with my voice.

THANK YOU ALL WHO CAME!

it was so good to see such a big turn-out and it was amazing to hear that so many of you enjoyed it! we deeply appreciate everyone who could make it (and those that couldnt of course)

we got off to a really late start due to our drummer (john) being in an accident on the way to the show! he was ok, someone just rear ended him. HEY! PAY ATTENTION WHEN YOU DRIVE! i've been through 6 cars (not an exageration) since i got my license in '98 and like john, have been lucky so far not to get hurt! drive safely! but he made it unharmed and we rocked out. the owner of the bar bought roses for his two daughters that were there and bought him a beer...what? no flower for john??

anyway, thanks again for coming! see you next time!
